Cevahir Shopping Mall – Mavi Store.

Project Description

SCA Mühendislik carried out the sprinkler, air-conditioning and ventilation installations for the Mavi store at Cevahir Shopping Mall in Şişli, Istanbul. The scope included 75 sprinkler heads with ring piping, 8 water-source heat pump (WSHP) units and their piping, and the store’s fresh-air and exhaust ventilation.

The fire suppression installation used 75 sprinkler heads connected through a ring piping arrangement. The gallery shows the pipe routes before the suspended ceiling was closed, sprinkler connection details, and the visible heads in the completed ceiling.

For air conditioning, we installed 8 WSHP units and their associated piping. WSHP stands for Water Source Heat Pump. Fresh-air supply and exhaust ventilation formed a separate part of the mechanical work: we connected to the shopping mall’s existing ducts and installed the necessary ventilation distribution within the store.

The project photographs document several stages of the installation, from exposed ceiling services to the completed store and ceiling. Together they show how the sprinkler piping, WSHP installation and ventilation work were integrated within one retail unit.
