FDC121KXZEN1 / FDC121KXZES1 provides 12.1 kW nominal cooling and 12.1 kW nominal heating for homes, offices and compact commercial premises. We select the outdoor unit alongside room loads, operating hours and the indoor units that will run at the same time.

Model specifications
- Configuration: Front-discharge; single- or three-phase variants
- Nominal cooling capacity: 12.1 kW
- Nominal heating capacity: 12.1 kW
- Nominal cooling input power: 3.16 kW
- Nominal heating input power: 3.09 kW
- Power supply: 1~/220–240 V • 3~/380–415 V
- Maximum connected indoor units: 8 — Subject to the connection ratio and approved indoor-unit combination
- Dimensions: 845 × 970 × 370 mm (H × W × D)
- Net weight: 85 kg single phase / 87 kg three phase
Nominal capacity describes a stated test point, rather than guaranteed output at every outdoor temperature. We check design-temperature performance, piping corrections and the simultaneous demand of the connected rooms before confirming equipment selection.
Piping, height difference and operating limits
The catalogue reference is 100 m of total piping, with the longest route to an indoor unit limited to 70 m. The outdoor-to-indoor height limit is 30 m with the outdoor unit above the indoor units and 15 m with it below. The total length of 9.52 mm liquid line must not exceed 50 m. These limits must be satisfied together with pipe diameter, branch placement, equivalent length and additional refrigerant requirements.
- Cooling range: -15 to 43°C — Outdoor dry-bulb reference
- Heating range: -20 to 15.5°C — Outdoor wet-bulb reference
Front-discharge installation
The compact casing suits projects where outdoor equipment space is limited. We keep intake and discharge paths clear, assess hot-air recirculation and identify service access before agreeing the location. Wall screens, balcony enclosures and neighbouring windows are part of that decision.
Two-pipe operation and electrical variants
The Heat Pump circuit serves heating or cooling as a common operating mode, while rooms retain individual temperature control. For Micro KXZ, KXZEN1 and KXZES1 suffixes distinguish single- and three-phase variants. For FDC224KXZPE1 and FDC280KXZPE1, three-phase supply and their own connection limits apply.
What we check before selection
- Room-by-room heat gains and winter heat losses
- Simultaneous loads, connection ratio and indoor-unit compatibility
- Outdoor airflow, structure, vibration and service access
- Branch arrangement, piping corrections and refrigerant charge
- Electrical supply, isolation, protection and control interfaces
Frequently asked questions
Does the maximum indoor-unit count guarantee full capacity in every room?
No. Connection count describes an allowed system arrangement. Available output depends on the outdoor unit, operating conditions and the combined demand of the rooms. We check both the count and capacity ratio before approving the combination.
Can I use these limits directly as an installation design?
The values support preliminary comparison. The final design also requires the exact model documentation, load calculation, branch and pipe selection, electrical coordination and commissioning procedure.
