VRF Air Conditioning Systems

One system. Different rooms. A design that works together. We develop VRF solutions around the building’s heat gains, winter losses and daily operating pattern, then coordinate equipment, controls and installation.

SCA Engineering is a dealer for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and FujiTherma VRF air conditioning systems. Our Istanbul-based team carries out surveys, design and installation across the Marmara region.

Interior planned around concealed VRF air distribution

A system chosen around your building

Variable Refrigerant Flow distributes refrigerant between an outdoor unit and compatible indoor units. Room controllers can provide local setpoints while the outdoor unit responds to changing combined demand. The available capacity, connected indoor-unit ratio and operating modes depend on the selected series and circuit.

  • Calculate room loads rather than choose from floor area alone.
  • Check which rooms run together, at what hours and at which setpoints.
  • Confirm Heat Pump or Heat Recovery where simultaneous heating and cooling is required.
  • Plan ventilation separately: standard room units circulate indoor air.
  • Coordinate refrigerant piping, electrical supply, drainage and controls.

Compare two brands through their technology

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

Explore VTCC load-responsive control, CHCC winter capacity management and compatible Airflex panels. Micro KXZ, the FDC224/280 compact group and KXZ2 modular systems serve different project scales. We explain the value of each feature alongside its actual model and accessory conditions.

Why Mitsubishi Heavy?

FujiTherma

Explore X3 precision control, runtime balancing and conditional backup options, plus compatible cassette air-distribution features. The compact A Series and modular X3 range are selected against the project’s load, location and operating priorities.

Why FujiTherma?

Indoor units shaped around the room

Choose a cassette where the ceiling and occupancy suit four-way distribution; a ducted unit where air is distributed through selected terminals; a wall-mounted unit where there is no ceiling void; or an appropriate floor or console family where high-level installation is difficult. Airflow and service access matter as much as appearance.

From site survey to handover

  • Survey: document room use, glazing, ceiling space, outdoor-unit locations and existing services.
  • Design: calculate loads, select compatible models and check the complete piping arrangement.
  • Installation: coordinate mechanical and electrical works with the building and finishes.
  • Commissioning: complete prescribed checks, test operation, verify air distribution and agree control settings.
  • Handover: identify the equipment, controls and maintenance access for the operating team.

Frequently asked questions

Will a VRF system supply the building’s fresh air?

Standard indoor units mainly recirculate room air. We calculate outdoor-air requirements separately and coordinate ventilation or a compatible AHU arrangement where appropriate.

Which brand is the better choice for my building?

We compare verified technology, design-condition capacity, installation limits, controls and maintenance access around your project. The proposal makes the selected series, indoor units and accessories clear.

Can all rooms heat and cool independently at the same time?

Individual setpoints do not automatically mean opposite operating modes on one circuit. Simultaneous heating and cooling requires a compatible Heat Recovery system and its associated installation.
