FujiTherma A Series

Compact VRF for homes, small offices and commercial spaces. We match the WDCHAX outdoor unit to room demand, available electrical supply and the actual refrigerant route.

FujiTherma A Series

Technical reference

  • Main range: 8.0–22.4 kW — WDCHAX models in the compact A Series
  • Supply: Single phase — 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz for the stated WDCHAX range
  • Refrigerant: R410A — Pipe sizing, leak testing and charge follow the selected model
  • Piping access: Four directions — Front, bottom, right or rear connections

Compact equipment still needs an air path

We check both the available footprint and the space needed to draw in and discharge air. Screens, balcony walls and adjacent outdoor units can cause recirculation. Casing dimensions exclude the additional clearances needed for circulation and servicing. We agree a location around those clearances before the pipe route is fixed.

Match the electrical variant to the exact model

The main WDCHAX range is described with single-phase supply. The separate THX335WDCHX 12 HP record must not inherit that claim. We check the full code, nominal input and installation electrical data before deciding cable sizes, isolation and protection. A familiar family name cannot replace the model’s electrical specification.

Interpret the temperature envelope correctly

The A Series catalogue states cooling at −5 to 59°C dry bulb and heating at −21 to 17°C wet bulb. Cooling at 55–59°C is described as intermittent operation. The upper boundary is not a promise of continuous nominal output. We select the system using available capacity at the actual outdoor design conditions.

Coordinate piping with controls and commissioning

Four connection directions can help fit the equipment around site constraints, but piping still needs approved diameters, branches, lengths and height differences. The catalogue describes test operation from a wired controller or the outdoor control-board button. We complete the installation checks and follow the relevant commissioning procedure before handing over room controls.

Our selection checklist

  • Verify the full WDCHAX model code and electrical data
  • Check simultaneous loads and indoor-unit combination
  • Plan piping and clear outdoor airflow paths

Frequently asked questions

Does the A Series include every 12 HP outdoor unit?

The THX335WDCHX 12 HP table is separate from the main 3–8 HP WDCHAX range. It requires its own selection data.

Can the unit deliver nominal output continuously at 59°C?

The stated upper cooling boundary includes intermittent operation at 55–59°C. Continuous output and capacity must be checked at the project’s actual design conditions.
