Build a multi-zone system around the way the property operates. X3 combines modular outdoor equipment with load-responsive control and conditional emergency-operation options.

Technical reference
- Single-module range: 8–28 HP — Select an approved module or combination for the project
- Expansion-valve control: 2,000 steps — Electronic expansion valve regulates refrigerant flow as demand changes
- VIP priority: Up to 5 indoor units — Subject to the selected system and control arrangement
- Runtime balancing: Compatible modules and compressors — A control function; maintenance and hardware compatibility remain essential
Precise control works with correct room sizing
Temperature sensing and a 2,000-step electronic expansion valve support adjustment to changing indoor loads. We pair this control with calculated room capacity and a suitable sensor location. VIP priority can favour selected indoor units, but it does not increase total outdoor capacity. Its effect on other rooms belongs in the operating strategy.
Electrical cooling has a specific role
X3 uses refrigerant cooling for the electrical control box to support the electronics’ thermal management. This is not a claim that the compressor is cooled by that same feature. Clear outdoor airflow and service spaces remain necessary; hot discharge recirculation can still affect operation. We assess the enclosure, ambient conditions and equipment arrangement together.
Runtime rotation supports balanced operation
Runtime balancing changes the operating sequence between compatible outdoor units and compressors. It aims to share operating duty across the selected configuration. It neither removes maintenance nor guarantees a fixed service life. We set the module combination against simultaneous demand and plan maintenance around the building’s priorities.
Emergency operation depends on actual hardware
The catalogue describes outdoor-unit, compressor and fan backup scenarios. Compressor backup requires appropriate two-compressor equipment or a suitable module combination; fan backup requires a two-fan outdoor unit. The fault and remaining capacity determine what is possible. We assess critical spaces and service access without promising uninterrupted full output during every fault.
Our selection checklist
- Confirm module combination and room-load diversity
- Identify controllers, priority rooms and permissions
- Evaluate fault scenarios against actual remaining capacity
Frequently asked questions
Does every X3 unit provide all backup functions?
The equipment configuration and failure conditions determine which emergency-operation procedures are available. We verify the selected modules, compressors and fans.
Does X3 offer the S-Mavo+ continuous-heating feature?
Features described for a separate product family should not be transferred to X3. We identify the technology available on the exact selected family and model.
