Conceal the equipment while keeping airflow measurable. We select the static-pressure class against the resistance of the complete duct and terminal system.

Technical reference
- Reference family: Low-static DTHX…HHX — Numerical examples below refer to this separate family
- Nominal cooling range: 2.2–16 kW — Exact capacity depends on the DTHX model
- Static-pressure reference: 30 / 60 Pa — Model-dependent; check required airflow and the selected duty
- Body height: 270 / 300 mm — Model-dependent; service and drain clearances are additional
Select the fan at the real air-system duty
Supply ducts, return grilles, bends, filters and diffusers create resistance. We calculate it at the required airflow, then choose the matching unit and fan setting. A higher pressure rating is not automatically quieter or more efficient. The unit must deliver the room’s design airflow through the actual installation.
Keep low- and high-static families distinct
The listed capacity, pressure and height examples describe the low-static DTHX…HHX range. Automatic external-static-pressure adjustment applies to compatible high-static models and is not transferred to the low-static reference simply because both are concealed units. Family and full model code remain visible in the selection file.
Resolve data conflicts before procurement
Some DHTHX45HHX and DHTHX63HHX source entries contain conflicting model values. We do not repeat those figures as confirmed capacity. Electrical power and supply for DHTHX224/280 also need model-specific confirmation. Where a table is ambiguous, we obtain the relevant current data before approving equipment or electrical works.
Concealment must preserve maintenance access
Return-air area, filter removal, fan access and drain-tray inspection need a clear route. We check insulation continuity and condensate gradients before closing the ceiling. At commissioning, measured supply quantities and branch balance are compared with the design, so a good-looking grille is supported by effective air distribution.
Our selection checklist
- Check the exact static-pressure family and model
- Calculate pressure loss and verify design airflow
- Agree filter, fan and drainage access before ceiling closure
Frequently asked questions
Does automatic static-pressure control correct undersized ducts?
It can support adjustment on compatible models, but it does not repair a poorly sized duct or unsuitable terminal. The design duty must be checked first.
Why are some model values omitted?
Conflicting source entries need clarification before they can support selection. We use verified subgroup values and confirm the exact model before procurement.
